Russian defence company opens office in Khanh Hoa Province

Avrora, a leading Russian company specializing in producing automatic systems for the military and civilian shipbuilding industry, has opened its representative office in Nha Trang city, Khanh Hoa Province.

Konstantin Yurievich Silov, the company’s CEO, said on March 15th that the opening of an office in Vietnam was not only for business purposes, but also to confirm the defence cooperation between the two countries, especially in developing defence-security technology and science and building automatic integration control systems for the defence purpose.

At present, the company has teamed with the Vietnamese Navy on many projects.

Chairman of the Province’s People’s Committee Nguyen Chien Thang has committed to create all favourable conditions for Avrova Company and hoped that the Russian company would fund the building of Vietnam’s military ship service base, which has been under construction in Cam Ranh Gulf. This would further tighten the diplomatic ties between the two countries.
