Launching ceremonies for the first tourist ferry was held at Dai Duong Shipyard, Hai Phong city, VietnamĀ  on 24 June 2013.

The ceremony included the attendance of the owner, Vietnam class, designer and the shipyard.

This vessels K128 is the first vessel in series of 17 vessels built for Indochina Junk, a private tourist company located at Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, Vietnam

According to the current production schedule, the first vessel K128 will be delivered in the end of July, followed by the second vessel in the end of this year 2013

At the same day, the keel laying for the second tourist ferry was held at Dai Duong shipyard. The vessels measure 46.,35 meters in length and 11.86 meters in breadth. It has 22 rooms to capacity 44 guests. The main engine is second hand engine with power around 540HP x 2100rpm. It was designed by SSTI designer in Vietnam
