Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding (MES) is aggressively expanding its business with having established a wholly-owned affiliate “Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding Asia Pte. Ltd. (“MES Asia”) in Singapore on October 1.
This is a policy to reinforce AS (After-sale Service) business for onshore and offshore machineries, LSS (Life cycle Solution Service) business, EPC (Engineering, Procurement & Construction) business for chemical plant and so on in fast-growing ASEAN countries.
MES Asia has been established in order to raise efficiency of such businesses as “Techno Service”, “Chemical Plant” and etc. which are current business activities in Singapore. This MES affiliate is planning to perform maintenance service for marine diesel engine, industrial machine, container crane and so on, targeting markets of Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and others as well as Singapore.
