On December 06th 2013, Dong Bac shipyard (DBS ) held the launching ceremony for the Bulk Carrier 12.500 DWT – No 01 – sign DB05. Attending the ceremony were representatives of the ship owner , Representatives of Rina class, Board of Directors, heads and deputy heads of the Departments, engineers and workers of DBS.
At the same day, DBS also held the keel laying for the second BC 12,5k with sign DB06
Truong Minh Ocean was designed by KITADA-JAPAN designer with the following basic parameters :
