In the morning of 12th June, Cam Ranh Shipbuilding Company Limited (Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group) celebrated the launch of the second steel fishing boat named Sang Fish 01.
The vessel is equipped with full modern maritime equipment, including radar, camera, radio, compass, GPS locator, buoys in any kinds, firefighting equipment, medicine for first aid, etc.
The vessel has enough seats for 18 crews, the reserved fuel ensures for its continuous operation of 2,000 nautical miles. Foodstuff, fresh water stored in vessel can be used within 30 days working at sea.
The total value of vessels (including fishing equipment) is 7.3 billion VND, in which, the ship owner Phan Be (coming from Duc Pho district, Quang Ngai province) contributes 4 billion VND, and the rest advanced by the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Group. The fisherman Phan Be will gradually repay (interest-free) for a period of 5-7 years.
Earlier, on 10th April, the first steel fishing boat handed over to the fisherman Mai Van Thanh in Binh Chanh commune, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai province.
